MAT Exam 2021 Dates for MBA have been released for May-June session of MAT 2021 Entrance Exam. Application form can be filled on the official website of AIMA-MAT. MAT Registration 2021 for Entrance Exam in May-June for PBT, CBT and IBT mode has been started on March 30 at https://mat.aima.in. As per the schedule, the Last date of registration for the MAT PBT mode exam is June 21st (Revised) and the MAT CBT mode exam is June 21st (Revised).
The first session of MAT 2021 entrance for MBA was started from February 20th to March 24th. The upcoming phase of MAT exams for MBA will be organized by AIMA in the May and June months of 2021. The MAT 2021 PBT mode of exam will be conducted on June 26th (Revised), MAT 2021 CBT mode of test will be conducted on June 26th (Revised) while MAT IBT exams will be conducted on May 30th & June 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 13th, 19th, and 20th.

About MAT Entrance Exam
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national level management entrance exam conducted by AIMA for MBA admission to over 800 B-schools to all over India. MAT Exam is conducted four times in a year.
MAT Entrance Exam for MBA program run by different B-Schools of India is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). AIMA conducts MAT Exam four times in a year- (1) February, (2) May, (3) September and (4) December. There are total 200 MCQs in the MAT Question Paper from five subjects which are Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Indian & Global Environment. MAT by AIMA is the only MBA entrance exam in India that offers the option to appear in Paper Based Test (PBT mode of entrance exam), Computer Based Test (CBT mode of entrance exam) and Internet Based Test (IBT mode of entrance exam).

MAT Eligibility Criteria
Students who want to appear in Management Aptitude Test for MBA admission need to fulfill some eligibility criteria set by AIMA before applying for the MAT exam 2021. MAT aspirants should check their eligibility criteria for MAT 2021 as per following instructions:
Academic Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a degree of graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates appearing in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for MAT 2021.
- Candidates with a professional degree such as CA, CS, or ICWA are also eligible to apply for the MAT 2021 entrance.
Age limit:
- There is no criteria set by AIMA for the upper age limit for the MAT entrance .

MAT Registration 2021 For MBA program
MAT registration 2021 for entrance to take admission in MBA has been started from 30th March 2021 on the official website of AIMA-MAT i.e. https://mat.aima.in . Before starting fill-up application form for MAT Entrance Test, students need to register themselves on the official website of AIMA-MAT to get a user ID and Password.

- Fill the registration form by entering Name of Candidate, Date of Birth, E-Mail, Mobile No., Password, State/UT.

MAT Exam Pattern 2021
The entrance test pattern of MAT as directed by AIMA includes total five sections. These five sections are- Language Comprehension, Indian and Global Environment, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning. The MAT test pattern is the same for both computer-based as well as paper-based tests. The exam consists of a total of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs) which have to be solved within 2 hours and 30 minutes. Each section of the exam has been allotted a time limit. MAT Exam Syllabus 2021
Language Comprehension: Language Comprehension section of MAT entrance Test has a total of 40 questions from the topics of Noun, Pronoun, Verb, Adjective, Adverb, One Word Substitution, Idioms/Phrases, Antonyms & Synonyms, Vocabulary, Fill in the blanks, Para Jumble, Sentence Correction, and the Reading Comprehension.
Intelligence & Critical Reasoning: This section consists of total 40 questions from the topics Analytical and Logical Reasoning which includes Family Tree, Arrangement, Statement Conclusions, Pie Chart, Course of Action, Visual Reasoning, Calendars, Strong and Weak Arguments, Series, Puzzles, Blood Relations, Coding & Decoding, Syllogisms and Graphs etc.
Data Analysis & Sufficiency: This section of Data Analysis & Sufficiency has a total of 40 questions divided into two parts which are Data Analysis and Data Sufficiency. The questions will be asked from the topics of Line & Bar Graph, Pie Chart, Data Comparison, Caselet, Quantitative Comparison and Data Sufficiency.
Mathematical Skills: The Mathematical Skills section of MAT exam is the Quantitative Aptitude section . This section includes a total of 40 questions from the topics of Geometry, Algebra, Mensuration Trigonometry and Modern Maths.
Indian & Global Environment: This section of MAT Test has a total of 40 questions from the topics of Current Affairs and static GK. This section may to be attempted at the end because the score of this section is not included for the calculation of MAT percentile.
How to prepare MAT Exam 2021 ?
- Since MAT Exam is conducted four times in a year, students have to decide in which phase they are going to attend this entrance exam.
- After that they are advised to make a strategy with proper time table and discipline.
- Candidates should be focused on each section of the MAT test.
- If they need, they can take coaching for it but remember self-study is as mandatory for achieving highest score in each section.
- They should practice regularly by solving previous exam papers and model paper.
- They have to practice to complete each section within the given time period with accuracy so that they can target 95+ percentile for getting admission in TOP B-Schools.

Test Day Guidelines
Candidates appearing in MAT Test 2021 need to follow guidelines issued by AIMA on the exam day. The instructions to be followed are given as below:
- Candidates must report to the exam center minimum an hour before the start of the examination.
- Aspirants are not allowed to carry Instrument/Pencil box/Handbag, Geometry, Purse, Paper/Textual material (written or printed)/Stationery, food and water (loose or packed), Earphone/ Microphone/Mobile Phone/Camera, Pager, Calculator, Tape Recorder, metallic items or any kind of electronic gadgets, etc. at the time of exam in the examination hall.
Candidates must have the following documents on the examination day to the test centre.
- Photocopy of admit card downloaded from AIMA’s official website.
- One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form)
- Any one of the authorized photo IDs (original, valid, and non-expired) – PAN card/ Voter ID/ Driving License/ Passport/ration card/Aadhaar Card (with the photograph).
- PwD certificate issued by an authorized medical officer, if claimed for the relaxation under the PwD category.

MAT 2021 Result
Result of MAT 2021 and scorecards will be released online at AIMA’s official website. Candidates will be download their result or scorecard by using their login credentials. Some highlights of MAT result are given below-

- AIMA-MAT Scaled Score ranges on a scale of 0-100 in each section while MAT Composite Score ranges on a scale of 199- 801.
- The MAT scaled score is used to convert into MAT percentile on the basis of relative performance of all the Aspirants who appeared in that particular session.
- MAT percentile is calculated out of 160 marks. The score gained in the Indian and Global Environment will not be considered for calculation of MAT percentile
The institutes which are not participated in AIMA MAT Exam 2021 may also consider the score of MAT for providing admissions to the candidates based on specific cut-off marks and other admission parameters.
Note-the Result of MAT is valid for one year.

After the declaration of MAT result AIMA sends scores of candidates to those five B-schools (MBA institutions) that they had selected in the application form as their priority for MBA admission. Then the Colleges call the candidates for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
